How to use this page

A control list—not a permit.

Check an item only after evidence is stored in the shipment file. “Conditional” means the answer depends on the exact HS code, ingredients, processing, packaging and destination. Coast2Valley should obtain written confirmation from its customs broker, importer and qualified regulatory advisors before shipment.

01

Establish the Indian exporter

Build one consistent legal, banking, tax and customs identity.

02

Obtain product registrations

Commodity authorities and premises requirements differ across the collection.

03

Build the product compliance file

Evidence must follow each SKU and lot—not just the brand.

04

Prepare every shipment document

Descriptions, codes, quantities and parties must reconcile across the file.

05

Canada market gate

The Canadian importer owns key border and food obligations; the exporter must supply the evidence.

06

Australia market gate

Biosecurity comes first, followed by food safety and label compliance.

07

Do not ship until…

A short final gate prevents expensive rework, holds and destruction.
